A shepherd would consistently take care of his sheep because they are incapable of taking care themselves. He will not only guide his flock to where food can be found but as well as protecting them from any dangers. God is like a Shepherd, who always presence with us to protect us from any dangers in life. God will also provides for what we needed to survive. Therefore as God’s sheep, we needed God the more. However, sad to say, that many at times we rejected God. Only when pressures and demands of life comes, we will recognize how self-insufficient we are actually.
